You said, "yes!" Next, you have to plan your big day. I know it can be over-whelming to plan such an important event.
It's my job to make sure the entertainment is solid and professional.
All you have to do is smile for the pictures and figure out how you're going to dance in that dress.
Personality
My number one goal is to make sure everyone safely makes their way to the dance floor and has the time of their life once they get there. Your guests are there for you, and I'm there for both of you! I play for the crowd, not myself. During cocktail hour and dinner music, I don't play a pre-recorded mix. I'm actually playing every-single-song for a reason. That reason is to observe physical reactions to each and every song that I play (Dances while their walking, belts out parts of the song, or even a simple hand/foot tap to the beat from their seats.) that gives me tips and hints for when it comes time to open the Dance floor.
Professionalism
When it comes time for your big day, there's no time for amateurs or beginners. I left those titles behind many years ago. Not to toot my own horn, but since this is my website (and I don't see anyone else paying the website bill) I'm very well going to do that! With that being said, I don't think I've seen it all but I'm very confident I've seen, an extreme amount of circumstances, situation's environments, cultures, vibes and atmospheres and I've rocked them all!
